ITC LIMITED INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

ITC (Indian Tobacco Company) limited placement paper review:

The test was of 1.5 hours. Different sets of questions were given to students.

It contained 4 sections:

1. Verbal Ability

2. Logical Reasoning

3. Domain section ( respective engineering branch, e.g. mine was mechanical engineering)

4. Quantitative Aptitude

Domain section (for mechanical engineering contained easy questions, mostly direct formula based numericals. Also, there were some questions regarding CNC programming language and some CAD softwares command related questions.

Besides, the mechanical engineering domain mostly consist of questions from Heat transfer, Thermodynamics, Refrigeration, SOM.

Verbal Ability was easy except the hardcore synonyms and antonyms.

LR was easy.

I came across with this question " If GIRAFFE is coded as 1 and TIGER as 7, the what will OCTOPUS will be coded as ?" I couldn't decode this one...otherwise QA was average and easy to solve.

Quantitative Aptitude was average in difficulty.

MAJOR Thing to notice : ITC test was lengthy and speed and accuracy was a must to successfully score in such placement paper.
